Automated assembly is a cornerstone of manufacturing. Well designed assembly stations dramatically increase productivity and reduce product cost while increasing uniformity and quality. Assembly technology takes a wide variety of forms, each best utilized for specific applications. We find that the most important first step in any manufacturing strategy is to simplify the problem as far as possible before determining the level of automation required. The automation machinery must be flexible enough to adapt quickly and inexpensively to changes in our customers product. Flexible automation allows our customers to keep well ahead of the competition with the minimum impact to production operations and budget. Our engineering strategy stresses simplicity, intuitive operator control, low maintenance, reliability, low cost and smooth process interfaces between new and existing equipment.
